Jim is a photo-artist residing in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. His goal is to convey, through photographs, the essence of the places he visits. He specializes in black and white photography, and is a traditionalist with respect to methodology in that he uses film to capture his images and a traditional darkroom to craft his prints.

All images are individually hand-printed on fiber-based silver gelatin paper and archivally processed in a “wet” darkroom, and, as such, do not exist in digital form. Images seen on this website are low resolution scans of working copies of the final prints.
