Jim is a photo-artist and printer residing in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. He specializes in black and white photography, and is a traditionalist with respect to his methodology in that he uses film to capture his images and a traditional darkroom to craft his prints. All images are individually hand-printed on fiber-based silver gelatin paper and archivally processed in a "wet" darkroom, and, as such, do not exist in digital form. Images seen on this website are low resolution scans of working copies of the final prints. Individual prints of images shown on this website are available for purchase. They are unmounted and the actual image size is approximately 10 x 13 inches, panoramas 7 x 17.5 inches. The cost per print is $70. (Canadian), taxes included. Matted (print mounted on 16 x 20 in., panoramas 13 x 23 in., white matboard, back mat and front over-mat) and framed (matted and black metal frame) copies of the prints are available for $90.00 (Canadian) and $160.00 (Canadian), respectively, taxes included, to customers located in close proximity to Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
