Sharon is a freelance travel writer and photographer based in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada and a professional member of PWAC, the Professional Writers Association of Canada. Her work has been published in a variety of print and electronic media including Boston Globe, Globe and Mail, National Post and trip-infrance.com. Czech Tourism nominated her story, Rhapsody Under a Bohemian Moon, for the 2006 ANTOR Excellence in Travel Writing Award.
Sharon's areas of specialization (always growing) include Central and Western Europe, Greece, and the Hawaiian islands. She welcomes new assignments. She also maintains a large bank of stories, published and unpublished, to which she can offer first or second rights, along with quality, high-resolution photographs for use alone or with articles.

In addition, Sharon is an experienced writing coach. She provides feedback to fiction and non-fiction writers, assists artists in the preparation of artist statements, and works with copywriters to develop brochures and web copy.
